Hi, I'm Caitlin!
I’m a creative lifestyle and film photographer based in Western New York, capturing stories through an honest, nostalgic lens. Originally from the suburbs of NYC, I moved to Buffalo to attend the University at Buffalo—and ended up falling in love with the city and my husband. Buffalo’s warmth and tight-knit community made it easy to stay. It truly lives up to its name: the City of Good Neighbors.
My love for photography runs deep. Growing up, I’d spend hours flipping through the photo albums that lined the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in my parents’ office. Those thousands of moments—frozen in time—taught me early on that photography is more than an image; it’s emotion, memory, and meaning.
In high school, I was introduced to film photography, and that’s when everything clicked. I took every class available, eager to soak up every bit of knowledge about light, timing, and the quiet patience that film demands. Film became my first love and continues to be my favorite medium. There’s something magical—and a little rebellious—about embracing the unpredictability of film in a world obsessed with instant results. You don’t always know what you’ve captured until much later, and that mystery makes it all the more special.
Over the years, my camera has followed me through many seasons of life—from documenting everyday moments with friends and family to capturing the beauty in small, candid, often-overlooked details. Whether I’m shooting in film or digital, my goal is always the same: to tell real, heartfelt stories that feel like you—messy, beautiful, and completely unforgettable.
When I’m not behind the lens, you can usually find me sipping a coffee at a cozy local café, digging through a thrift store for vintage treasures, or playing recreational volleyball in several local leagues!
Let’s create something timeless together.
